10,000 join rally for Jalosjos release

DIPOLOG CITY – About 10,000 people from all walks of life yesterday asked President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to adhere to the “principle of human rights”, and demanded the immediately release of former Zamboanga del Norte congressman Romeo Jalosjos whom government agents re-arrested at his home town in Dapitan City before Christmas Day.

Jalosjos returned to National Bilibid; placed in maximum security (ABS-CBNNEWS.com)

Convicted child rapist Romeo Jalosjos was hauled back on Friday to the National Bilibid Prisons (NBP) in Muntinlupa City from Zamboanga City a day after a Zamboanga regional trial court (RTC) junked his petition questioning his re-arrest and detention.
