Since its birth as a daily on May 26, 1990, the Daily Zamboanga Times has lived up to its reputation as Zamboanga's Very Own Daily Newspaper. It is located on Mayor Jaldon Street, Zamboanga City. It has been acclaimed by the Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAPI) President Juan P. Dayang as the most prestigious daily in Southern Philippines and acknowledged as leader in news and information in Mindanao's Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula).
