Suspect who molested 14-year-old niece arrested |

THE local police have arrested a 42-year-old driver for allegedly sexually molesting his 14-year-old niece on separate occasions in Barangay Mampang, east of this city.
Arrested was Joven Bayjunan, a resident of the said place. He was arrested Tuesday night in Barangay Mampang.
The police said the suspect allegedly molested his niece, who is a Grade-6 school pupil, on three occasions.
The first incident took place last December 1. It was followed last March 31 and last Monday.
The victim alleged that her uncle pretended to do a massage on her but later touched her private parts.
The suspect denied the accusations against him, saying he only did a therapy massage on his niece and did it in front of his wife.
The police said there are indications that the victim was "touched" based on initial medical findings.
