Police were investigating the death of university teacher who died in a massage parlor last Sunday night.
A police report said Raymundo Misaya, a teacher at the Western Mindanao State University lost consciousness while he was at the Manly KTV and Massage Parlor along San Jose Road around 8:45 p.m.
Juliet Saavedra, floor manager of the massage parlor, told the police that Misaya was rushed to the Brent Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Saavedra told the police that Misaya lost consciousness while inside the establishment.
Misaya’s body was taken to a funeral parlor for post mortem examination.
Police were still trying to determine the cause of Misaya’s death.
Meanwhile, John Carlo Orio was injured after his motorcycle collided with a police car at the junction of Gov. Alvarez and Nuñez Streets last Friday night.
A police report said Orio lost control of the steering bar causing his motorcyle to hit the rear of the police car. — Dan Toribio Jr.
