"I think the mayor who is an LDP and running under Lakas should be the first one to understand  and appreciate the apostolate of the Kasangga because this is a project related to the president," Dela Cruz said.

Kasangga led by Marilou Arroyo-Lesaca, the president's sister-in-law, is a party list newly registered with the Comelec.  The group has been involved in community service activities, such as the medical and dental missions.

It has conducted in partnership with othe office of External affairs of Malacañang and the Beta Sigma fraternity.  The project benefited more than 534 patients who reside in the vicinity of Malacañang Palace.

"The head of the Kasangga is no less that the sister of the First Gentleman, I am wondering why he (Celso)  has been antagonistic and came out with some negative pronouncement," Dela Cruz.

The former priest hailed Kasangga for its pro-poor program, saying that though it is a newly registered party list even before has actually been helping the poor people.

" I woud like to congratulate the apostolate of the Kasangga and I'm sure the mayor can not support it because he is backing in the Cocofed, "he said

Dela Cruz, meanwhile, vowed to the people of Zamboanga that no matter how his rivals ht his character and destroy his good name, he would only talk about his program action and show his love and understanding.
