CONGRESSIONAL candidate for District 2 Susan Delos Reyes of the Nuevo Zamboanga has reacted to her rival in the congressional race for District 2, re-electionist Congressman Erbie Fabian, for telling her that she should not be serious in this politics.
"Porque man hindi yo man serioso na politico? Hey, man! No quiere yo man golpe-golpe no quiere yo man hilahan pelo, por eso serioso de mio campana kay quiere yo lleva comida cada plato de Jente (Why won't I be serious in politics? Hey, man! I don't want to be involved in a fist fight nor do I want hair-pull-ing. My campaign is serious because I want to bring food to every resident's plate)," Delos Reyes said.
That is why, she said the electorates of District 2 should vote for her I am real and not fake. What I am everyday is what you see and get. I fight for the things I want." Asked what would be her priorities if elected, she replied: "I want to teach the people on how they should be able to provide for themselves and how to earn a decent livelihood using education ands also what they have." "Let us address those is-sues. Let us be serious. You want to be one of the highest officials of Zamboanga and you'll just pose on the wall. That cannot be. We should be serious," she said, as she shrugged off the Laban ng Demokratikong Filipino's accusation that they were spreading lies, tagging the charge "funny and ridiculous'.
"If Celso can say trial Zamboanga is Asia's Latin City when there is no latino here, he can also claim that we're spreading lies. We're not spreading lies. How can we spread lies when we don't even have access to most media?" Earlier, Mayor Celso Lobregat denounced what they described as "lies and deceit" certain pronouncements of the Nuevo Zamboanga that tricycles will be phased out when the LDP wins in the forthcoming May 14 elections.
The former vice mayor reiterated that they are not spreading lies and that they stand by the truth "We have live our lives in truth and we never accused anybody and we did not employ any black propaganda" (Hader Glang)
