Two men armed with revolvers held-up a delivery man of a cargo forwarder firm in Ayer Village, Sta. Barbara last Friday afternoon. Jose Angelo, 24, single, of the Air 21 Cargo, together with other employees were delivering cargoes in the said place when the hold-up occurred.
A police report disclosed that while Angelo was carrying a package and walking on his way to deliver it to a house, two men armed with .38 cal. revolvers appeared from behind and poked ther guns on his neck while announcing the holdup. Police said the holduppers divested Angelo of his wallet containing P700, a cell phone, packages to be delivered such as 15 pieces of Diner cards, eight Mead Johnson samples and several documents. The holduppers fled towards the interior of Sta. Barbara. Meanwhile, Faizal Abdulkaril of Sta. Barbara, this city appeared at the central police station yesterday and reported that he was held up by three men while he was aboard a tricycle along Nuñez St. corner Gov. Alvarez Avenue last Saturday afternoon. Abdulkaril told the police that he was on his way to the bus terminal in Guiwan coming from Corcuera St., when three men blocked their path and announced the heist at knife point. The holduppers robbed him of his Seiko 5 wristwatch, his P800 and the driver’s P1,000. — Dan Toribio Jr.
