A 52-year-old man died after he accidentally fell from a jeepney in Barangay Talabaan last Friday afternoon.
A police report identified the victim as Rey Maddaz, married, of Taluksangay, this city.
Investigation disclosed that Maddaz was riding on a jeepney driven by Asakil Arasid when the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. along the road in Talabaan.
Witnesses told the police that while the vehicle was in motion, Maddaz asked the driver to stop the vehicle for him to answer a call of nature.
When the jeepney came to a halt, Maddaz slipped and fell with his head hitting the concrete pavement.
He was rushed to the Zamboanga City Medical Center where he expired while undergoing treatment.
