Gov’t hedging program for OFWs battered by continuing peso rise

The assurance made by the government that the Development Bank of the Philippines (BSP) will open this month as special facility that would guarantee a fair return on the remittances of Filipinos working abroad, is a big relief on the part of the Overseas Filipino Workers who have been affected by the continuing rise in the value of the peso against the US dollar.
