Tourism in Zamboanga is relatively growing, and a second look at the record of tourist arrivals show that a great number of Americans, compared with other nationals, have come over to stay in the city. These Americans are mostly soldiers that belong to the US Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines, the biggest foreign institution-supporter of the local tourism industry.
